Laib has been logged extensively as has alot of the private land holdings known as Darkwoods Forestry.
Darkwoods Forestry has managed private forestland located
between Nelson, Salmo and Creston for 36 years.
Darkwoods Forestry is wholly owned by a German family, which has owned and managed
forests in Europe for several hundred years.
